The other day I was sitting around talking to a couple friends. One of my friends is a web designer who dabbles a little in web development and the other friend is in my opinion a genius programmer who can program in about any language out there.
During our conversation my friend the web designer used the word "code" to refer to markup in a site he was working on. My programmer friend immediately corrected him and stated that mere HTML markup was not code. I half agree and half disagree, but when you see the word "code" on the CornerPixel website it will most of the time refer to program code and not HTML / XHTML markup, or CSS.
Having said that, the code part of the CornerPixel website will mostly cover the following code languages.
I hope to include many guides on all of the above languages, but JavaScript, XML and C# will make up the bigger portion on this site because I mostly use CMS's that are written in C# (ASP.NET) and JavaScript is a huge part of the web these days.
Stay tuned. You can always keep an eye on our blogs at blogs.cornerpixel.net or by adding our blogs RSS to your news readers.
Thanks for stopping by.
Below are some helpful websites that give you a start to some of the languages used in web development today.
AS you can tell, I like W3Schools. They are awesome and have all sorts of tutorials. I also have them bookmarked for many other little things I need to check up on here and there.
